CHANGE MANAGEMENT
Passionate about championing the human in the process of change, I've achieved qualifications in Change Management with Prosci, and also completed a course in Leading Through Change at the R1 Business School in Chicago after being selected to represent my NZ colleagues at the time. In saying that, the majority of learning has come from involvement in a multitude of process changes and transformation projects over my career and seeing what worked well, and what lessons could be learned from those situations that could have gone better.
'The Best Laid Plans' can still result in a failure if we don't fully understand and factor in the people aspect of change, this is true whether we are talking about process, system, or organisational change, including acquisitions, restructures and mergers.
The only constant is change, and there are so many ways that we can do this better.
