AGILE THINKING

I am passionate about continuous improvement, the benefits of lean, agile thinking and design thinking, and how we can apply this mindset to every aspect of our work. This can be separated from the development methodology (although I am very familiar with KanBan, Scrum, Epics, Story Points and all the other aspects of the development methodology).
I take parts of different methodologies and apply based on the scenario and environment I'm working in. One of my mantras is 'Understand the problem, build the right thing, and build the thing right'. I always check in and think, 'where is the customer in this?'.
Too often I've seen talented and passionate people deliver a solution where actually, only ~20% of the functionality is used and required. Alternatively, the solution has been built perfectly for what the organisation wants, but the end user has been neglected in the thought process.
Think of all the amazing things that could be done with that additional time.
